June 30, 2005, 6:58 pm Today is the last day of my birthday month - and I spent most of it on the couch. Oh well. I'm happy to be pregnant, so laying on the couch was worth it to make a healthy baby. :) We are going to celebrate this weekend, so I don't know what we're doing yet. Thank you to Josh and Ali for the ScrapSupply gift certificates!!!! I have already spent them!!!! :) :) :) Now I'm off to cook for the first time in about two weeks, or since I started feeling bad, I've lost track of when that was. I'm ready to have some of my own cooking. Not that Brittany isn't a good cook, and not that Wendy's doesn't make good baked potatoes, but ya' know? :D So off to make a good batch of spaghetti with some garlic toast. Yum. I've really been craving some bbq ribs though - I'm going to have to go somewhere to get some good ones. Too bad there's not a Lone Star here - they have AWESOME ribs (even if they do have peanuts on the floor!). :) June 29, 2005, 5:45 pm This is it. I'm on the downhill spiral. I'm 29! Actually, today has been okay - very uneventful, as Andy is working late today. But, we are going to celebrate this weekend since he'll have four days off for the holiday! Thanks to all who sent their birthday wishes. :) I'm not sure what Andy has up his sleeve, but he usually goes too far and spends too much money. Not that I'm complaining (I like being spoiled). :D :D :D I haven't posted many photos lately since I haven't felt well, but we have a lot going on around here this weekend, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of pictures to share in a few days. :)
June 28, 2005, 2:25 pm Well, tomorrow marks the first day of the last year of my twenties. I don't necessarily consider the thirties to be "old", but I consider it to be the last decade of my youth. And I want to stay young. I don't want to enter the last decade of my youth! Yeah, yeah, I know everyone says your thirties are the best years of your life. Whatever. :) I guess 29 isn't too awfully bad. I suppose I'll survive it. It just seems as though the last ten years have flown by. They say the older you are, the faster time goes. If that's true, then it'll seem like a week before I'm turning 39! Ah well, tis life, eh? :) June 27, 2005, 9:20 pm HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANCE!!! I hope it was a good one! :)
June 24, 2005, 6:41 pm Well, I am feeling better - not great, but better. My belly is already huge (I hope I don't get TOO enormous this pregnancy! I've never shown this soon!!!). Today Andy cut up some watermelon and I got a few pictures. I think this is about the first time I've taken photos this whole month!!! (odd for me since I usually take photos constantly) :)
We had actually been finished swimming for a while (in our little pool), but Darby loves her hot pink bikini and wears it all day! :) Hopefully I'll be able to update my blog more often - we'll see how the rest of this pregnancy goes. :) I'm still spending most of my day resting, but I'm able to move around some now - I was pretty much stuck on the couch for a while there. Thanks for all the prayers - baby is still there (yay!). I should be getting an ultrasound within a few weeks so I can update everyone a little more then. :) June 19, 2005, 4:42 pm Wow - has it been 4 days since I updated my blog? Well, I'm afraid I won't be updating it too regularly, at least for a little while. I'm pretty much on bed rest, and this is the first I've been on the computer since Wednesday! Please pray for the baby and me - he/she/them? is/are fighting to stay in there, so that's a good sign! I'm just resting - reading lots and watching movies! Now is the time I wish I had cable! LOL |
